Labor Day Sales Event Helps Teachers and Students

A Great Vehicle. A Great Price. A Great Cause. That’s what you can expect during the Jim Ellis Labor Day Sales Event from August 31 through September 7. For every vehicle leased or purchased at Audi Atlanta during the event, the Jim Ellis Automotive Group will make a donation to Atlanta Beats Covid (ABC) to support the production and distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE) to teachers and students in our Atlanta-area communities.

Many schools and teachers are encountering difficulties getting their hands on PPE due to a nationwide shortage and shipping delays.

ABC is an ad-hoc group of local makers, engineers, fabricators, seamsters and other Southeast industry experts that have come together as volunteers to address the huge PPE shortage. With an original focus on medical workers, their efforts have now expanded to help non-profit and public schools. Since March, ABC has provided more than 28,000 pieces of PPE to the Atlanta medical community and since July, they’ve provided 2,357 face shields to area schools. That’s why we’re proud to partner with an organization like ABC to do our part to help the communities we serve.
