The Jim Ellis Family is always on the lookout for opportunities to help others in the surrounding community. On Tuesday, July the 18th, Audi Atlanta was visited by a Life South of Georgia mobile blood center in search of brave blood donors.
Life South is an organization that works closely with hospitals all over the Southern region, and the majority of Tuesday’s offerings were collected for patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Thanks to the generous contributions from Audi Atlanta clients and employees, Life South was able to collect and provide over 20 lifesaving donations for Atlanta hospitals.
Audi Atlanta employees and clients generously took the time out of their day to lend a helping hand, and voluntarily gave of themselves for a great cause. There were even multiple people driving by that saw the truck parked outside our dealership, who then decided to graciously stop by to donate.
To show appreciation for everyone’s generosity, Audi Atlanta provided snacks and refreshments to all who gave blood. Each donor was entered into a prize drawing, which was held later in the day, as a way of further thanking all participants.
Life South of Georgia is very thankful to everyone involved in this event, but is still highly in need of blood platelet donations.
